Theme: Family-oriented chili cookoff. Two chili contests, one local Public Safety (police, fire, EMT, teachers), one sanctioned by the International Chili Society featuring chili sampling & judging, live local music. Admission: $5.00 includes chili samplings. Kids under 5 free
Attendance: Estimated 500 – 1,500
Facilities: Outdoors, asphalt parking lot. Water, portable toilets, electrical service. Propane not provided.
Charities: All proceeds to the Lawrence Rotary Club for the benefit of children's education. Competition: All competitors need to be members of the ICS except for those competing in the Heroes competition. See Awards and Prizes for more information. Musical Entertainment:
